Karachi: Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry has said that if the situation of corona virus in the country does not improve in a week, then we will have to go for complete lockdown. 90% of the available oxygen is being used in the whole country. The system cannot be over-supplied.

Addressing a press conference at Governor House Karachi, Fawad Chaudhry said that only 21% of the population in the country was following Corona SOPs, after which the Prime Minister directed the Army to implement SOPs. If not implemented, the situation may worsen. The Prime Minister has opposed a complete lockdown, but if the situation does not improve in a week, we will have to move towards a complete lockdown. But we are trying not to impose a complete lockdown. Because it will affect workers and traders.

He said that there was a worrying situation of virus in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa where the rate had reached 40% in some districts. The pressure of coronary patients on hospitals in big cities is increasing. 90% of ICU beds in Lahore have been filled while 88% in Gujranwala and 85% in Multan have been filled.

He said that the situation in Baluchistan and Gilgit-Baltistan is better than other provinces. The supply line has been restored in Karachi due to reduction in corona cases. If the rate of corona increases in Karachi, the supply line of the whole country will be affected. 90% of oxygen is being used, even if you ask for oxygen, there will not be much supply in the system.

انہوں نے کہا کہ خیبر پختونخوا میں وائرس کی پریشان کن صورتحال ہے جہاں چند اضلاع میں شرح 40 فیصد تک پہنچ گئی۔ بڑے شہروں میں اسپتالوں پر کرونا مریضوں کا دبا بڑھ رہا ہے۔ لاہور کے 90 فیصد آئی سی یو بیڈز بھر چکے ہیں جبکہ گوجرانوالہ میں 88 اور ملتان میں 85 فیصد وینٹی لیٹر بھر چکے ہیں۔

 چوہدری نے کہا کہ بلوچستان اور گلگت بلتستان کی صورتحال باقی صوبوں سے بہتر ہے، کراچی میں بھی کورونا کیسز کم ہونے کی وجہ سے سپلائی لائن بحال ہے، کراچی میں کورونا کی شرح بڑھی تو پورے ملک کی سپلائی لائن متاثر ہوگی، پورے ملک میں دستیاب آکسیجن کا 90 فیصد استعمال ہو رہا ہے، آکسیجن منگوا بھی لیں تب بھی سسٹم میں زیادہ سپلائی نہیں ہوسکتی۔

وزیر اطلاعات نے کہا کہ بھارت میں کورونا نے تباہی مچائی ہوئی ہے اور آکسیجن کی کمی ہوگئی ہے، وزیر اعظم اور وزیر خارجہ نے بھارتی عوام کے لیے نیک خواہشات کا اظہار کیا ہے، بھارت میں وائرس کی لہر مودی کی انتخابی مہم کی وجہ سے پھیلی، مشکل وقت میں ہندوستان کے عوام کے ساتھ ہیں لیکن ہمارے اپنے حالات بھی اطمینان بخش نہیں ہے۔

فواد چوہدری نے مسلم لیگ ن کی نائب صدر مریم نواز کی جانب سے کراچی کا دورہ منسوخ کیے جانے کے اقدام کو خوش آئند قرار دیا اور کہا کہ انہوں نے بہتر فیصلہ کیا۔

انہوں نے علمائے کرام سے درخواست کی کہ رمضان میں نماز اور تراویح کے دوران کرونا ایس او پیز پر سختی سے عمل درآمد کروائیں، عید کے اجتماعات کو ایس او پیز میں رکھنا اہم ہوگا، اس معاملے میں علما ہماری قیادت اور رہنمائی کریں۔

انہوں نے کہا کہ سندھ میں بھی صحت کارڈ لانا چاہتے ہیں، تمام صحافیوں کو وزیراعظم ہاوسنگ اسکیم میں شامل کریں گے، بدقسمتی سے سندھ حکومت نے صحت کارڈ میں اپنا حصہ نہیں ڈالا، صحافیوں کو خصوصی پیکیج کے تحت صحت کارڈ میں لارہے ہیں، تنخواہ دار طبقے پر دباو آیا ہے جسے کم کرنے کی کوشش کررہے ہیں۔

انہوں نے کہا کہ ریاست نے کالعدم تنظیم والے معاملے پر اپنی رٹ پر سمجھوتا نہیں کیا، اپوزیشن اس معاملے پر سیاست نہ کرے، زیادہ تلخی پاکستان کے لیے اچھی نہیں، جو رویہ مسلم لیگ ن کے لوگوں کا ہے اس سے لگتا ہے یہ تلخی چاہتے ہیں، سندھ حکومت کی طرف سے تعاون نہیں ہوتا، پیپلزپارٹی نے اپنے وعدے پورے نہیں کیے۔

وفاقی وزیر نے کہا کہ دو سالوں میں سولہ سو ارب روپے سندھ میں آئے جس کا کوئی حساب نہیں، پیپلزپارٹی نے سندھ کو کھنڈارت میں تبدیل کردیا، کورونا کے حوالے سے اقدامات تو صوبائی حکومتوں نے کرنے ہیں، پاکستان کا ویکسی نیشن پلان یورپ سے بھی اچھا ہے۔

جہانگیر ترین کے معاملے پر وفاقی وزیر نے کہا کہ جہانگیر ترین پر بھی جو الزامات ہیں وہ اس کا جواب دے رہے ہیں، عمران خان کو بلیک میل یا دباؤ میں نہیں لایا جاسکتا، جہانگیر ترین کہہ رہے ہیں کہ میں مقدمات کا سامناکروں گا.
