81): - فاعل No sooner سے پہلے ہو گا اگر No sooner فاعل سے پہلے ہو تو No sooner کے بعد لیکن فاعل سے پہلے Helping Verb لگے گا۔

 

No sooner I reached there then he left. (Incorrect)

No sooner did I reached there then he left. (Correct)

Or

I no sooner reached there then he left. (Correct)

 

82): - دوسری ڈگری دو کے مقابلے کیلئے اور تیسری ڈگری دو سے زیادہ کیلئے استعمال ہوتی ہیں۔

He is the tallest of the two boys. (Incorrect)

He is the taller of the two boys. (Correct)

This book is more interesting of the three. (Incorrect)

This book is the most interesting of the three. (Correct)

 

83): - "The number of" واحد ہے اور "A number of" جمع ہے۔

 

The number of boys living in this street are idlers. (Incorrect)

The number of boys living in this street is idlers. (Correct)

 

84): - اگر دو Verb "Neither Nor" سے ملائے جائیں تو فاعل Neither سے پہلے ہونا چاہیے ۔ یعنی اگر Neither کے بعد Verb/Pronoun/noun ہے تو Nor کے بعد بھی Verb/Pronoun/Noun ہونا چاہیے۔

 

Neither he comes nor writes. (Incorrect)

He neither comes nor writes. (Correct)

 

85): - اگر کسی Adjective سے پہلے the لگادیا جائے تو پوری جماعت کی نمائندگی کرتا ہے اس کو جمع بنانے کی ضرورت نہیں۔لیکن ایسے Adjective کے بعد verb جمع آتا ہے ۔

The poors are haled everywhere. (Incorrect)

The poor are hated everywhere. (Correct)

 

 

86): - "as ...as مثبت فقرے میں استعمال ہوتا ہے so.....as منفی فقرے میں استعمال ہوتا ہے 

He is so tall as I. (Incorrect)

He is as tall as I. (Correct)

She is not as tall as her sister. (Incorrect)

She is not so tall as her sister. (Correct)

 

87): -  "Pronoun فاعل کے مطابق ہونا چاہیے۔

 

 

The farmer is ploughing their field. (Incorrect)

The farmer is ploughing his field. (Correct)

 

88): -  مندرجہ Phrases میں تبدیلی نہیں ہو گی۔

 

Express thanks

Speak the truth

Tell a lie

Say the gratitude

 

He told the truth only. (Incorrect)

He told the truth only. (Correct)

 

89): -  فعل helping verb کے بعد pronoun کی فاعلی حالت ہو گی۔

 

It is me. (Incorrect)

It is I. (Correct)

 

90): -  فقرے کے شروع میں Owing to" اور ,Is, am, are, was, were کے بعد due to استعمال ہو گا۔ 

Due to illness, he was absent from the class. (Incorrect)

Owing to illness, he was absent from the class. (Correct) 

He is absent from the class due to illness.  (Correct)
