71): - ایسے "Adverb" جو "Past Tense" کو ظاہر کرتے ہے ۔ ان کے ساتھ "Past Indefinite Tense استعمال کریں۔ ایسے "Adverb" مندرجہ ذیل ہیں۔مثلا صبح ۔ شام۔ 10 بجے وغیرہ

(ago, last, yesterday, time)

She has written a letter two days ago. (Incorrect)

She wrote a letter two days ago. (Correct)

He had learnt the lesson yesterday. (Incorrect)

He learnt the lesson yesterday. (Correct)

 

 

72): - مندرجہ ذیل Phrases میں article ضروری ہے ۔

Make a noise 

Get a headache 

In the wrong 

In the negative

In the affirmative 

In the positive 

Of the opinion 

In the interrogative

She replied in negative. (Incorrect)

She replied in the negative. (Correct)

He is in wrong. (Incorrect)

He is in the wrong. (Correct)

73): - کچھ Nouns کی واحد اور جمع کی شکل ایک ہوتی ہیں۔اگر Under Line . الفاظ کے بعد Of آئے تو ان کے ساتھ s کا اضافہ ہو گا۔ اگر مختلف اقسام کی مچھلیوں کے لئے Fishes استعمال کر سکتے ہیں۔

Deer, Swine, Pair, Dozen, Score, Hundred, Thousand, Million, Fish, Sheep, etc.

 

I caught two fishes. (Incorrect)

I caught two fish. (Correct)

She earns hundred of dollars a week. (Incorrect)

She earns hundreds of dollars a week. (Correct)

 

74): - کچھ Verbs ایسے ہیں۔جن کے بعد Preposition  استعمال نہیں ہوتا وہ درج ذیل ہیں۔

 

Love, hate, marry, reach, resemble, affect, control, no use, ask, resign, discuss, inform, attack, sign, order, tell, request.

 

She resemble to her mother. (Incorrect)

She resemble her mother. (Correct)

 

75): - مندرجہ ذیل Adjectives کیونکہ کسی چیز کے مکمل ہونے کی دلیل ہیں۔ لہزا ان سے پہلے most/more استعمال نہیں ہوتا۔

Preferable, unique, ideal, perfect, complete, matchless, entire, universal, full, extreme etc.

 

He is the most unique doctor in this hospital. (Incorrect)

He is the unique doctor in this hospital. (Correct)

 

76): - اگر دو Pronouns/Nouns مندرجہ ذیل الفاظ سے ملائے جائیں تو Verb پہلے Pronoun/Noun کے مطابق ہو گا۔ 

Not, with, alongwith, together with, but, except, besides, as well as, instead of, in addition to, etc.

 

She with I am ill. (Incorrect)

She with I is ill. (Correct)

 

77): - پہلی ڈگری اور , "form + ing" Present Participle سے پہلے Very اور دوسری اور تیسری فارم سے پہلے Much لگتا ہے۔ لیکن جب تیسری فارم بطور Adjective کے استعمال ہو اس سے پہلے عموما Very لگتا ہے۔

He is much fine. (Incorrect)

He is very fine. (Correct)

It is much interesting matter. (Incorrect)

She is very taller than Salma. (Incorrect)

She is much taller than Salma. (Correct)

Ali is very dejected. (Incorrect)

78): - اگر کسی فقرے میں Principal  Clause ماضی میں ہو تو Subordinate بھی ماضی میں ہو گا لیکن اگر Subordinate Clause میں کوئی عالمگیر سچائی ہو تو وہ حال ہو گی۔

He said, that he has gone there. (Incorrect) 

He said, that he had gone there. (Correct) 

He said, that the earth was round. (Incorrect) 

He said, that the earth is round. (Correct) 

 

79): - ماتحت کلاز "Subordinate Clause" کبھی سوالیہ نہیں ہوتی ۔

 

She asked why was he laughing? (Incorrect)

She asked why he was laughing. (Correct)

 

80): - اگرNo sooner  والے فقرے کے دو حصے ہوتے ہیں۔دونوں کے درمیان میں then لگے گا۔
