41): - اگر کسی Collective Noun کو بطور Unit کے لیاجائے تو "Verb/Pronoun" واحد استعمال ہو گے۔ اور اگر Collective Noun کو الگ الگ افراد کے طور پر لیا جائے تو "Verb/Pronoun" جمع استعمال ہو گے۔

اس فقرے میں committee کو بطور Unit لیا گیا ہے۔
The committee are discussing the issue. (Correct)
اس فقرے میں committee کو بطور افراد لیا گیا ہے۔
42): - "Collective Nouns" یہ ایسے اسم ہے کہ جن کے کئی ممبران ہوتے ہیں۔ مثلا "Class" یہ لفظ بطور Unit کے واحد ہے لیکن اگر دیکھا جائے تو Class میں کئی طلباء/افراد ہوتے ہیں۔
Police, family, club, tribe, company, herd, army, team, party, majority etc.
نوٹ: - Collective Nouns کے متعلق اصول یہ ہے کہ یہ واحد کے طور پر بھی استعمال ہو سکتے ہیں اور جمع کے طور پر بھی۔

43): - جب کوئی فقرہ "When, If, Because, As" سے شروع ہوتوایسے فقرے میں ہمیشہ دو Clause ہوں گی۔ دونوں کے درمیان Comma لگے گا۔ کوئی Conjunction استعمال نہ کریں۔

44): - فعل "Want" کے بعد That Clause کی بجائے "فعل کی پہلی فارم + to" , Infinitive لگائیں۔
She wants that I should teach her English. (Incorrect)

45): - اگر دو Nouns/Pronouns کو Either.........Or یا Neither........Nor یا ۔۔۔۔۔۔Or....... سے ملایا جائے۔ تو Verb قریبی Noun/ Pronoun کے مطابق ہو گا۔
Either he or I is responsible for the loss. (Incorrect)

46): - یاد رکھیں "As if" اور "As through " کے بعد Past Perfect tense استعمال ہوتا ہے۔

He cried as if he was mad. (Incorrect)
He cried as if he were/had been mad. (Correct)

50): - فرق نوٹ کریں۔
