Rules of Correction (Lesson-03)

 

21): -  مندرجہ ذیل کے بعد  bare infinitive ("جب پہلی فارم سے پہلے "to" استعمال نہ ہو۔")  لگتا ہے۔

 

Bid, let, need, make, had better, see, but, rather than, except, feel, near, observe, behold, watch, dare etc.

 

I made her to stand. (Incorrect)

I made her stand. (Correct)

 

22): -  "Perfect Continuous" میں "For/Since کا استعمال مندرجہ ذیل طریقے سے ہو گا۔

 

Starting Point "Since"

Total period of time "For"

 He has been ill since four days. (Incorrect)

 He has been ill for four days. (Correct)

 

23): -  "Than/As" کے بعد pronoun کی فاعلی حالت لگتی ہے۔ اگر "Than/As" کے بعد "Both/All" ہو تو مفعولی حالت لگے گی۔

 

He is as tall as all of we. (Incorrect)

He is as tall as all of us. (Correct)

 

24): -  جانوروں کی ملکیت ظاہر کرنے کیلئے "S" لگتا ہے ۔بے جان چیز کی ملکیت ظاہر کرنے کیلئے"Of" لگتا ہے۔ 

 

This room's fan is fast. (Incorrect)

The fan of this room is fast. (Correct)

25): -  مقابلہ صرف ایک جنس میں ہوتا ہے۔ یعنی دو ایک جیسی چیزوں کا ہوتا ہے۔ 

The fan of that room is faster  than the other room. (Incorrect)

The fan of that room is faster  than of the other room. (Correct)

 

26): - فرق نوٹ کریں 

"َ Majority" . واحد ہے 

"َ Majority of" . جمع ہے 

Majority of boys in this school is talented. (Incorrect)

Majority of boys in this school are talented. (Correct)

 
Gerund (ing-form) - :(27 سے پہلے Pronoun کی اضافی حالت یا ملکیتی حالت لگتی ہے۔

 

He dislike me going there. (Incorrect)

He dislike my going there. (Correct)

 

28): - فرق نوٹ کریں.

(Swim) طاقت یا کوشش سے تیرنا ایسی چیز کا تیرنا جو ڈوب  انسان یا جانور۔

( Float) بغیر طاقت یا کوشش سے تیرنا ایسی چیز کا تیرنا جو ڈوب نہ سکے جیسے پرندے لکڑی وغیرہ ۔

اس کے علاوہ Duck پانی نہیں ڈوبتی۔

 

The duck is swimming. (Incorrect)

The duck is floating. (Correct)

 

29): - فرق نوٹ کریں

Take the Test/Examination طلباء کا امتحان دینا 

Take the Test/Examination استادکا امتحان لینا۔

 

The student is giving the test. (Incorrect)

The student is taking the test. (Correct)

 

30): - فرق نوٹ کریں.

Lie  لیتنا پہلی فارم

Lay دوسری فارم

Lain تیسری فارم

Lying چوتھی فارم

Lay کسی چیز کو کہیں رکھنا یا انڈے دینا پہلی فارم 

Laid دوسری فارم

Laid تیسری فارم
